Mini Iron Giant Reunion in London Last Week

Last week we had a mini Iron Giant reunion; Mike Nguyen (who animated lots of great shots of Hogarth) was visiting London from Korea, via Ireland, where he has been working with Producer Barry O'Donoghue on "Little Caribou", an independent feature film that I personally can't wait to see on the big screen.
Also there was the super talented Sydney Padua, who has since developed her own personal style as a graphic novelist, winning awards for her series "The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage".

It was so nice to see everyone again after such a long time. Iron Giant was one of those rare films where we all knew we had something really great on our hands, working under the inspiring guidance of Brad Bird.

The film didn't do well at the box office, but has become a cult classic, earning its place in many a list of top 100 films of all time.
